General Information
Uzbek cast iron cauldrons are heat-treated at the factory and are ready for use. However, we recommend an additional cleaning procedure before cooking for the first time.
- Heat the cauldron over a fire (NO lid!).
- Add approximately 1 kg of regular table salt.
- Stir the salt evenly across the entire inner surface of the cauldron for about 20 minutes. The salt will help remove any remaining manufacturing residues.
- Discard the used salt and allow the cauldron to cool completely.
- Wash the cauldron thoroughly and dry it completely.
- Apply a thin layer of vegetable oil to the inner surface of the cauldron.
Your cauldron is now ready for cooking.
The size of the cauldron depends on your needs. For example, a 12-litre cauldron can be used to prepare enough pilaf for approximately 10 people, while a 16-litre cauldron allows you to cook even larger portions.
One important thing to remember: a large cauldron allows you to prepare both small and large quantities of food, whereas a smaller cauldron limits how much you can cook.
Therefore, if you are choosing between two sizes, we recommend going for the larger cauldron.
The choice of metal thickness depends on how often you plan to use your grill or stove, as well as the conditions in which it will be used and stored.
If your grill is kept under a roof, protected from rain and snow, and used only occasionally, you can choose a model made from thinner steel.
However, if your grill will be permanently kept outdoors and exposed to different weather conditions, we recommend choosing thicker steel.
Thicker steel is also preferable for frequent and intensive use, as it can better withstand prolonged exposure to high temperatures and is less likely to deform.
Our grills and stoves are made from high-quality steel and coated with special heat-resistant paint that helps protect the metal from external conditions.
However, it is important to understand that regular steel may develop rust over time, especially when continuously exposed to moisture, rain and snow.
During heating and regular use, the protective coating may gradually wear off, particularly in areas directly exposed to flames.
To extend the product's lifespan, we recommend keeping it under a roof or canopy whenever possible, protecting it from prolonged exposure to moisture, and renewing the heat-resistant coating when necessary.
With proper care and maintenance, your grill or stove can last for many years.
Our grills and stoves are coated with special heat-resistant paint. However, exposure to high temperatures, open flames and weather conditions may gradually cause the coating to fade, change colour or peel.
In addition, regular steel naturally oxidises over time and may develop rust when exposed to moisture, affecting the appearance of the product.
These changes can be part of the natural ageing and wear of metal products. Therefore, the warranty does not cover normal wear and tear of the paint coating or corrosion resulting from normal use.
This does not affect the customer's statutory rights in the event of manufacturing defects.
